Tony Monaco works in the classic jazz organ style, following the mentorship of Jimmy Smith and delivering fiery performances on the Hammond B-3. In 2000, he met fellow jazz organist Joey DeFrancesco who helped produce his critically acclaimed debut album "Burnin' Grooves," which launched international success and worldwide tours. His show at Cliff Bell’s brought the tradition to life with his own burning sound. Admission was $10.
