It's a tour of England's musical moods. Anna Clyne's Within Her Arms is a tender tribute to her late mother. Andsnes has long championed Britten's Piano Concerto and brings sparkle and bite to it. Elgar's Enigma Variations, with the beloved "Nimrod" at its heart, paints affectionate portraits of the composer's friends.

Most performances have a 30-minute pre-concert talk an hour before, with general admission seating in Orchestra Hall. You can also watch the Sunday 3 p.m. concert live on Live from Orchestra Hall, the DSO's YouTube channel or its Facebook page. It's part of the PVS Classical series.
