Middle School Dance: Monster Mash Bash

Music, Halloween vibes and a costume contest: the Monster Mash Bash is for Grosse Pointe-area 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Come in a school-appropriate costume for a shot at the Best Costume Awards. Full-face masks and prop weapons are not allowed.

Every ticket includes a voucher for one slice of Jet's Pizza (cheese, pepperoni and gluten-free options). Extra pizza, chips, cookies and other treats are $2 each, cash or card. Water is free.

A parent or guardian must register each student, and sales are online only, with no door sales. Pre-sale tickets are $22, and $25 during the week of the dance starting October 25. A combo pack with Christmas By The Lake is $40. Sales close at 2 p.m. on the day of the dance. Students give their name at the door and need a school or other photo ID. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the dance ends at 8:30 sharp. No refunds or transfers. Parents can volunteer as chaperones, and their child gets a free ticket.
