Kasan Belgrave is the son of trumpeter Marcus Belgrave and grew up in Detroit's jazz mentorship circle. He studied at the University of Michigan with Andrew Bishop, Benny Green and Robert Hurst, and later toured with Jazz at Lincoln Center under Wynton Marsalis. His record Dual Citizen reflects his own musical world, and he performs it with his sextet: Jonathan Muir-Cotton on bass, Louis Jones on drums, Brendon Davis on piano, Allen Dennard on trumpet, and Michael Abbo on trombone and bass.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for dinner. Seating for Dinner & a Show begins at 6, and seating for the second show at 9. Reservations are needed.
