Stonewall Run Club
Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center’s Stonewall Run Club hosts a 5K/10K community run on Wednesday, November 4, at 6:30 p.m., starting outside Affirmations in Ferndale. LGBTQ+ friendly run with two route options; this 1st-week meetup finishes at Sidecar Slider Bar.
Start is outside Affirmations (290 W Nine Mile Rd). Pick your pace and your distance—5K or 10K—looping the Nine Mile area, with this odd-week route wrapping up at Sidecar Slider Bar behind West Troy.
Weather call is made by 11 a.m. each Wednesday based on radar. If there’s active precipitation, lightning, or unsafe conditions near Nine Mile and Troy, the run is canceled. Backup plan: any canceled Wednesday becomes a social meetup at Soho/Sidecar Slider Bar, 7–8 p.m.
