Flint Youth Theatre Presents: Alice in Wonderland
Flint Youth Theatre stages William Glennon's Alice in Wonderland on Friday, May 7, and Saturday, May 8, at MacArthur Recital Hall in Flint. It's a family-friendly show of about an hour, with tickets starting at $22.
William Glennon's adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic stays so close to the original's spirit that you might think Carroll wrote it himself, yet it's full of imaginative staging. A group of performers seeks out Alice to give her her turn in Wonderland, then plays the many characters she meets along the way.
The show runs about 60 minutes with no intermission and is family friendly. Tickets start at $22, or $18 for Genesee County residents, with fees included. It's presented through the Flint Institute of Music.
