The Old Man and the Old Moon
Wayne State University Theatre and Dance presents The Old Man and the Old Moon (Large Cast Edition) on Wednesday, October 21, at 2 p.m. at Hilberry Gateway in Detroit—an imaginative sea-faring epic of storms, civil wars, leviathans, and cantankerous ghosts as the Old Man chooses love and adventure over duty.
He’s tended the moon for as long as anyone remembers—until a mysterious melody lures the Old Woman away and the Old Man sets sail after her. What follows is a theatrical voyage packed with apocalyptic storms, civil wars, deep-sea leviathans, grumpy ghosts, and the hardest trial of all: change. The Large Cast Edition promises expansive, inventive storytelling on stage.
Presented by Wayne State University Theatre and Dance at the Hilberry Gateway. The Old Man and the Old Moon (Large Cast Edition) is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
