Family Workshop: Accordion Books
Cranbrook Art Museum hosts a family workshop on Saturday, February 6, at 1:30 p.m. in the Art Lab in Bloomfield Hills. Families fold accordion books with unique covers; it's $15 per participant and pre-registration is required.
Cranbrook's monthly family Saturdays start with an interactive museum tour, then move into an artist-led workshop. This session is all about accordion books with unique covers, and inside you'll explore abstract painting techniques and mark-making with paint sticks.
The workshop is meant for families with kids ages 4 to 16 and runs until 3 p.m. All materials are provided, and you'll need to register ahead on the museum's website.
