Murder Mystery Party at Ford House
Edsel & Eleanor Ford House hosts an interactive murder mystery party on Saturday, October 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores. Sold out. Inspired by Eleanor Ford’s legendary parties, you’ll explore the historic Main Residence while hunting for clues.
The party returns for two nights with Best Laid Plans: mingle with suspects, bribe for clues, and team up to unmask the culprit as you move through the Main Residence. Dress to the nines—evening wear and suits fit the vibe.
Schedule: check-in at the Visitor Center starts at 6 p.m.; opening scene in the Main Hall at 7; at least an hour to investigate; final sentencing and reveal at 8:15; wrap at 8:45 with return to the Visitor Center lot.
Attendance is strictly limited to protect the home, and this date is sold out. Accessibility: key actors are stationed on the first floor, though some areas have limitations. Dinner option: The Continental on site takes reservations; allow at least 90 minutes before your tour.
