Gemini’s 150th Birthday Celebration

On Wednesday, January 3, Gemini, the Michigan twin duo San and Laz Slomovits, performed at The Ark in Ann Arbor. While their shows for families are well-loved, lately they've shifted some focus toward adult audiences, partly inspired by San’s daughter Emily’s folk career, who joined them that night. They were backed by longtime collaborators Mike Morrison on drums and Eric Fithian on bass. The set included songs from influences like Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, and the Beatles, along with originals and musical settings of poetry.
