Feufollet Concert at The Ark in Ann Arbor
Southwest Louisiana's Feufollet played at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 8 p.m. They blend Cajun, honky-tonk, and string-band roots into a broad modern sound in support of their new studio album.
Feufollet is a young, vibrant band from Southwest Louisiana starting from Cajun, honky-tonk, and string-band traditions. Their newest album, "Two Universes," released after five years, builds on those roots while expanding into blues, country ballads, and rock’n’roll, inspired by swamp whispers and old waltzes. Keyboardist Andrew Toups shapes their sound alongside twin fiddles, French accordion, and guitar twang. On February 19, they brought this rich mix live to The Ark’s cozy stage in Ann Arbor.
