Winter Wonder Lights is billed as Michigan's most dazzling holiday light show, spread across the Meadow Brook Estate grounds on the Oakland University campus. You explore at your own pace among the light displays, and you can add a tour of part of Meadow Brook Hall's decorated interior.

Expect seasonal and specialty drinks, selfie stations, bonfires and food trucks. It runs rain, snow or shine, parking is free and a shuttle is available. Start times are 6, 6:30, 7, 7:30 and 8 p.m.

Meadow Brook closes daily from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to reset the tour route between the daytime Holiday Walk and the evening show. The Hall was built from 1926 to 1929 by Matilda Dodge Wilson and her husband Alfred Wilson, and it's one of America's finest Tudor-revival homes.
