The Accidentals at The Ark in Ann Arbor
The Michigan-based indie-folk trio The Accidentals played on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. Their blend of fiddle and cello offered the audience a heartfelt communal experience.
The story of The Accidentals started in a Michigan high school classroom, when violinist Savannah Buist and cellist Katie Larson joined forces for a school concert. Since then, they've released six full albums, three EPs, and two live records, collaborating with notable artists along the way. Their music focuses on shared human experiences, connection, and emotional honesty. The Ann Arbor show at The Ark featured the addition of Detroit multi-instrumentalist Katelynn Corll, adding depth to their live performance.
