Songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Zion Rock Godchaux, a Muscle Shoals, Alabama native, founded BoomBox in 2004. The sound blends a little house, blues, funk and rock with plenty of soul. The group has five albums, several tracks with millions of Spotify plays, and sets at Electric Forest, Hangout Music Festival, High Sierra Music Festival and Red Rocks.

In spring 2019, Zion brought in Kinsman MacKay, his "brother from the same mother." That fall the band debuted its live horn section, The BackBeat Brass, led by trumpeter Nic Chaffee of Delta Nove. The horns join select shows, adding a classic brass sound run through psychedelic textures.

This show is 18 and over.
