Make Way for Ducklings
Croswell Opera House stages a family musical based on the beloved 1941 children's book: Make Way for Ducklings plays Saturday, March 20, at 11 a.m. in Adrian. A pair of ducks looks for the right place to raise their young in busy Boston, and they can't quite agree on where.
Mr. and Mrs. Mallard want a nest that's safe and quiet, but they can't settle on where it should be. The bickering carries into parenthood, and the ducklings pick up the habit. It's up to the parents to teach them how to apologize, and how love makes any place a home.
The musical touches on making decisions, disagreeing politely and owning up to mistakes, and it's written for kids and adults alike. The show runs March 19 through 21, and this listing is the Saturday, March 20, matinee.
