Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway
Grammy-winning bluegrass artist Molly Tuttle played with her band Golden Highway on Saturday, May 11, at 7 p.m. at The Majestic Theatre in Detroit, showcasing their new album City of Gold live.
Molly Tuttle is one of the roots music scene's brightest new voices, a gifted guitar player, singer, and songwriter from Northern California. She grew up surrounded by bluegrass thanks to her music teacher father and banjo-playing grandfather. City of Gold, performed live with her band for the first time, follows her 2022 Grammy-winning album Crooked Tree. The new record pays tribute to her childhood home and the stories she grew up with, captured through the band's vibrant group energy. The Detroit show was organized by AEG Live, with tickets priced at $35.
