Annie Bacon & Her OSHEN and Sammie Hershock Concert
Annie Bacon and Sammie Hershock played at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. They brought heartfelt and playful songs that explore the boundaries between music and the human soul.
Sammie Hershock, once almost a cloistered nun, is now a multi-award-winning Michigan songwriter and classically trained pianist who blends humor with depth in her songs. Annie Bacon, a writer and musician from Ann Arbor, merges folk-rock with literary storytelling through her band OSHEN. Her 2024 album Storm, recorded analog in Nashville, deals with grief and loss. At The Ark, they shared these personal and contemplative songs with the audience.
