The Claudettes at The Ark
The Claudettes played at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Friday, August 23, at 8 p.m., bringing their indie pop and rock sound into bold new territory with powerful new singer Rachel Williams.
Rooted in blues and roots music, The Claudettes blend indie pop and rock in fresh ways. Pianist and songwriter Johnny Iguana and drummer Michael Caskey have crafted key chapters of the band’s story since their 2013 debut. Their recent era with Texas-born singer Rachel Williams adds a commanding voice to their sound. Johnny has performed on multiple Grammy-nominated albums and co-composed the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning score for the 2024 FX/Hulu series "The Bear." The show took place at the iconic venue The Ark in Ann Arbor; tickets were $25.
