Opening Day Party with GFK Organ Trio
GFK Organ Trio played at Cliff Bell’s in Detroit on Friday, April 7, starting at 4 p.m. They brought a funky, soulful jazz vibe for the Tigers season opener event.
GFK Trio formed in spring 2013 to honor and refresh the classic jazz organ trio format. Dan Gruszka on guitar, Eric “Fil” Fillip on drums, and Scott Kulik on Hammond organ delivered an energetic, soulful, and entertaining performance. Their setlist mixed modern and classic tunes with influences from funk, soul, rock, and hip hop, creating a unique sound. The crowd was either dancing or listening closely, sharing the passion the band brought to the stage.
