Eastern Market After Dark 2026
Eastern Market After Dark is the headline night of Detroit Month of Design, a free, all-ages festival held in Detroit's Eastern Market district. The Shed 2 becomes the creative and design hub for one night, complemented by mural tours, a Slow Roll bike ride, riverfront activations, and late openings of longstanding local businesses.
Eastern Market After Dark serves as the main evening event of Detroit Month of Design, transforming the Shed 2 in Eastern Market into a center for creativity and design for one night. The event features Murals in the Market tours showcasing public art, a Slow Roll bike tour, activities along the Dequindre Cut riverfront, and the district’s year-round tenants staying open late to participate. It celebrates Detroit's creative community in partnership with a location that has supported Detroit's makers and merchants for over 130 years.
