Humbird live at The Ark in Ann Arbor
Humbird, a Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter and poet, played The Ark in Ann Arbor on Tuesday, September 24, at 8 p.m. The concert was part of The Ark's Artist Spotlight Series, free to attend with a nonperishable food drive to benefit Food Gatherers.
Siri Undlin, known as Humbird, brought her unique blend of experimental indie folk rock, environmental Americana, and orchestral sounds to The Ark stage. Her clear, haunting voice stands at the center of the music, backed by a nimble band that adds texture and color. Humbird's debut album Pharmakon received notable acclaim, surpassing 20 million streams. The show was free, with a chance to support local hunger relief through a food drive. The intimate and vibrant performance gave a full sense of her songwriting and storytelling.
