Sixpence None The Richer concert at The Ark in Ann Arbor
Legendary band Sixpence None The Richer played on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. The concert celebrated the 25th anniversary of their iconic Kiss Me album, recently reissued on collectible vinyl.
Sixpence None The Richer formed in New Braunfels, Texas, in the early ’90s when guitarist Matt Slocum met vocalist Leigh Nash at a church retreat. The band rose to fame with hits like “Kiss Me,” featured in numerous movies and TV shows around the globe. In 2024, all original members reunited to write and record new music and prepare for a world tour. Their show at The Ark in Ann Arbor featured both new songs, including 2023’s "The Tide," and classic hits. Tickets for the concert were $40 at the door.
