Lúnasa

Formed in 1997 by members of some of Ireland’s top groups from the previous decade, Lúnasa quickly earned acclaim for their fresh take on traditional Irish music. They’ve sold over 250,000 records and performed in 36 countries, racking up more than 2,500 shows along the way. The band has collaborated with notable artists like Natalie Merchant and Mary-Chapin Carpenter and played major venues including Hollywood Bowl and Carnegie Hall. This particular show took place on the second floor of The Ark, and attendees needed to use the stairs since the elevator was under repair.
