John R. Miller
John R. Miller, a singer-songwriter and picker, played at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 8 p.m. He showcased his debut solo album Depreciated, praised by roots music favorite Tyler Childers.
John R. Miller is a true hyphenate artist—singer, songwriter, and guitarist—who performed songs from his debut album Depreciated backed by a fiery band. His lyrics weave intricate wordplay and haunting imagery, while his guitar and vocals evoke the wild landscapes of Shenandoah Valley. Tyler Childers calls him a well-traveled wordsmith mapping the world one chord at a time.
