Bandits on the Run at The Ark in Ann Arbor
Bandits on the Run played a live show on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. Their unique blend of cello, guitar, accordion, and intricate harmonies makes their gigs stand out.
Bandits on the Run is a Brooklyn-based trio made up of Adrian Blake Enscoe, Sydney Shepherd, and Regina Strayhorn. They combine cello, guitar, accordion, and found percussion alongside sophisticated three-part harmonies and rotating lead vocals. The band first gained national attention in 2019 with their song “Love in the Underground,” featured by NPR. They’ve worked on a short musical film, composed for a Netflix animated series, and scored theatrical productions while touring internationally.
Their 2025 Ann Arbor concert took place at The Ark, where tickets cost $24 and were available at the box office as well. If you're into indie folk with storytelling vibes, this show would have been a solid pick.
