Bill Kirchen
Grammy-nominated guitarist Bill Kirchen played on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. The show featured songs from Bob Dylan's mid-1960s Newport sets alongside favorites from Kirchen’s own catalog.
Bill Kirchen, founding member of Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen, brought a memorable performance to The Ark in Ann Arbor. Inspired by his experience watching Bob Dylan go electric 60 years earlier, he played songs from Dylan's 1964 and 1965 Newport Beach sets, mixed with his own classics. Kirchen's career includes collaborations with major Americana and roots rock artists, making this a rich musical evening for fans.
