Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore – Almost Acoustic Duo

Back in 2018, Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore teamed up for their album Downey To Lubbock, crafting songs about their journeys and the connections between their home states. Six years later, their album TexiCali continued to explore the vast landscapes from California to Texas. On the Ann Arbor stage at The Ark, they brought their intimate acoustic duo performance, weaving tales rooted in borderlands, wide-open spaces, and lived experiences that paint a rich musical narrative.
