Cris Williamson's 50th Anniversary Concert at The Ark
On Sunday, October 5, at 7:30 p.m., Cris Williamson celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic album The Changer and the Changed with a solo show at Ann Arbor's The Ark. This album is a cornerstone of feminist music history.
Cris Williamson came back to The Ark in Ann Arbor for a special solo show marking 50 years of The Changer and the Changed. Released in 1975, the album is a landmark in women's music, speaking deeply about loss, grief, and renewal. NPR’s Ann Powers calls it a timeless journey that refreshes listeners even after decades. Cris enjoys playing these old songs anew each time. Join to remember and celebrate the anthem of a movement.
