The RFD Boys at The Ark

Since 1969, The RFD Boys have been delighting Michigan audiences with their superb musicianship and clever, perfectly timed between-song humor. They're not just bluegrass legends but a vital part of America's bluegrass tradition, having performed with icons like Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley. In 2018, they welcomed guitarist Dan Roehrig, influenced by Doc Watson, Clarence White, and Tony Rice, whose singing and playing enrich their sound. Their 50th anniversary performance at the Folk Festival introduced many to their music, and their concert at The Ark showcased why they're a staple of Ann Arbor's music scene.
