Carbon Leaf Concert
Virginia's Carbon Leaf performed on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. The folk-infused indie rock band presented their fifteenth studio album, Time is the Playground, exploring themes of time, love, and personal growth.
Formed in 1992, Carbon Leaf has played over 3,500 enthusiastic live shows. Known for blending nostalgic storytelling with acoustic and electric instrumentation, their latest album focuses on living in the moment and the passage of time. Returning to their indie roots, they record in their own studio to maintain full creative control.
