Mon Rovîa

Mon Rovîa shares that he was born during Liberia's civil war, escaped the life of a child soldier, and was rescued by missionaries. Having lived in many places and experienced much, he also faced the challenges of being a transracially adopted refugee. His music is a reflection of these deep experiences and the empathy he holds for others' struggles. For his 2025 concert in Ann Arbor, part of the ticket sales went to Habitat for Humanity of Tennessee to support recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene. Admission was $30 and tickets were available in advance.
