FRÄNDER at The Ark in Ann Arbor
Sweden and Estonia’s folk-rock fusion band FRÄNDER played at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 8 p.m. Their show delivered a powerful mix of Nordic roots and hard rock energy in an electrifying live performance.
FRÄNDER brings a living, breathing force to folk music by blending Nordic folk traditions with the raw power of hard rock. On their 2026 U.S. tour stop at The Ark in Ann Arbor, they performed songs from their acclaimed second album FRÄNDER II, pushing folk’s limits with echoes of Led Zeppelin and Jethro Tull. The concert’s mood shifted between mystical and wild, acoustic yet heavy sounds creating an unforgettable atmosphere that moved the crowd between dancing and awe.
