Cowboy Junkies – Live on Tour 2026
Cowboy Junkies played at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Monday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m., delivering a set that spanned their entire career from The Trinity Session to their latest album. The Canadian band is known for Margo Timmins's haunting voice paired with her brother Michael’s heartfelt lyrics.
Formed in Toronto in 1985, Cowboy Junkies made their mark with the iconic 1988 album The Trinity Session, blending folk, blues, and rock in a quiet but powerful way. Margo Timmins’s voice carries a melancholic beauty, while Michael Timmins’s lyrics add emotional depth. Their 2026 concert at The Ark showcased both classic songs and tracks from their recent Such Ferocious Beauty! album. The band has stayed together without breaks, creating a tight-knit, intimate performance that night.
