VOICES: Al Bettis & Ki5 with Aviva Match at The Ark
Al Bettis, a heartfelt acoustic guitarist and songwriter, and Kyler Wilkins (Ki5), Ann Arbor's musical maestro, performed with vocalist Aviva Match on Thursday, June 4, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. Part of the VOICES series, the artists shared their journeys and soulful sounds.
Al Bettis started playing guitar and writing songs at age 30, delivering smooth vocals and sincere lyrics reminiscent of Al Green and Otis Redding. Ki5, fresh off his 2026 MIND EP release, joined forces with Aviva Match to blend vocal harmonies, beatboxing, and spontaneous musical moments. VOICES showcases Michigan BIPOC artists, creating a space where musicians share their stories and connect deeply with the audience.
