BLKBOK Live at The Ark in Ann Arbor
BLKBOK, a Detroit-born piano prodigy and neo-classical composer, played live at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 8 p.m. His energetic, piano-driven shows explore cultural awareness and self-reflection through music.
Charles Wilson III, known as BLKBOK, grew up in Detroit's inner city and transformed from a prodigious pianist into a boundary-pushing neo-classical artist. His debut album, Black Book, was featured at the inaugural Juneteenth Foundation Freedom Concert and gained acclaim in contemporary music circles. His performances combine high energy and cultural depth, fostering dialogue about identity and the world around us. His show at The Ark reflected these themes with vibrant musical storytelling. Tickets included all fees and were available both online and at the box office.
