Ellis Paul Concert
Ellis Paul, the Maine-born singer-songwriter, played at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 8 p.m. His songs turn human stories into honest music that touches on personal and social issues.
Ellis Paul is more than a songwriter; carrying his guitar, he reports on human experiences with songs about hopes, loves, and losses. Drawing from influences like Woody Guthrie, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan, his folk style is heartfelt and socially aware. At The Ark in Ann Arbor, he performed songs from his 23 albums, including the award-winning The Storyteller’s Suitcase and his latest release, 55, which reflects on gratitude during tough pandemic and politically divided times. Tickets were $35, and the event was organized by The Ark.
