North Ingalls and Ananda Murari

North Ingalls formed among students at the University of Michigan's School of Music, delivering a distinctive indie folk-groove sound by blending folk with jazz, R&B, and rock. Their music explores themes of love and relationships with emotionally honest and detailed lyrics, supported by raw vocals and a rich sound that resonates across generations. Ananda Murari is a Southeast Michigan musician whose songs reflect a decade spent in monastic life. His folk music draws on jazz and Indian tribal traditions, infusing storytelling, philosophy, and spiritual reflection. His work uncovers intimate truths about love, heartache, self-discovery, and beauty found in vulnerability, appealing to seekers on a personal journey.
