TransFuse Art Market
The Grand Rapids Trans Foundation hosted the TransFuse Art Market on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Richmond Park. This special event celebrated trans and queer artists with a variety of art vendors, performances, and food and drink options.
TransFuse Art Market was a collaboration between Transfigure Print Co. and Grand Rapids Trans Foundation aimed at uplifting trans and queer creators. This year’s market featured twice as many artists and multiple performances. It was a free outdoor event with mandatory masks indoors and strongly encouraged masks outdoors to protect immunocompromised attendees. The market offered gender-neutral restrooms, free parking, and opportunities to support trans-made art and performers through purchases. Masks were provided inside.
