Lowell Pride Festival – “Defy & Amplify”
Lowell Pride celebrated its 5th annual festival on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lowell Riverwalk in Grand Rapids, standing loud and proud for the LGBTQIA+ community.
The Lowell Pride Festival came back strong for its fifth year at Lowell Riverwalk, bringing people together to resist erasure and silence. It served as a visible and loving affirmation that LGBTQIA+ folks are seen, loved, and celebrated. More than a party, this event marked a stand for rights and identities amid challenges, with plenty of allies and community support. The festival was free to attend, inviting everyone to join in the spirit of pride, resistance, and belonging.
