Cheers, Queers! Happy Hour in Grand Rapids
Cheers, Queers! was a casual meetup for West Michigan’s Trans & Queer community on Thursday, July 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Vivant Brewery + Spirits in Grand Rapids. A chill night to catch up with old friends and meet new ones, with drink discounts.
Cheers, Queers! was a welcoming hangout hosted at Vivant Brewery + Spirits, co-sponsored by GR Trans Foundation and GR Pride Center. It featured two monthly gatherings: a traditional happy hour and a non-alcoholic meetup. Attendees enjoyed $2 off all beverages, with snacks available for purchase. The venue was accessible by bike, bus, and car, with curb cuts and ramps for entry. Gendered restrooms were available, and the event could get loud. This free event welcomed everyone 18 and older.
