On Wednesday, April 1, from 1 to 5 p.m., GR Trans Foundation hosted a “Gender Junk” walk-in day in Grand Rapids. Attendees could stop by to order gender-affirming products like bras, binders, tucking underwear, packers, wigs, STPs, and TransTape free of charge.
Most items were brand new and custom-ordered from a catalog in individual sizes, though some gently used pieces were available for free on site. The drop-in days operated on a first-come, first-served basis, so some waiting was expected if there was a line.
