“Cheers, Queers!” Happy Hour in Grand Rapids

“Cheers, Queers!” is a welcoming, informal event for the trans and queer community of West Michigan, offering a chance to catch up with old friends or meet new ones. They hold two meet-ups each month: a regular happy hour with drinks at Vivant Brewery and a non-alcoholic gathering at Lotus Brew. The May event took place at Vivant Brewery + Spirits, where attendees received $2 off all drinks and could buy some snacks. It was open to those 18 and older, no purchase required. The venue is wheelchair accessible with curb cuts and ramps, bike racks are available, and the area has street and adjacent lot parking. The event can get loud, and restrooms are gendered.
