“Stitch, please!”: Fiber Arts Group
On Saturday, June 14, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., fiber arts fans met at the Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center in Ferndale to knit, crochet, stitch, and sew together. The group offered a welcoming, creative space to share skills and ideas.
Held in the Affirmations Board Room, this gathering brought together people interested in knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and sewing to work on projects and exchange inspiration. It was open to all skill levels except complete beginners, as the group wasn't set up to teach newbies. The event fostered connection and creativity in a supportive atmosphere.
