Ben Green’s Harmolodics
Ben Green’s Harmolodics trio played at Detroit's Cliff Bell’s on Thursday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. Their sound is a modern take on Ornette Coleman’s improvisational style, blending electronics with free trio dynamics.
Formed in 2018 by Benjamin Green as a tribute to Ornette Coleman, Harmolodics reshapes the concept of harmolodic music using electronic and electro-acoustic techniques. Their set covered a wide spectrum, from wandering improvisations and soaring melodies to hard-hitting grooves and emotional explorations, delivering a passionate and uninhibited sonic experience.
