On March 24, Marquis Johnson on drums, along with Jon Dixon on keyboards and Jonathan Muir Cotton on bass, brought Leafar Village’s sound to life at Cliff Bell’s. Rafael Leafar, a rare multi-instrumentalist, was unable to perform, but the band still brought out the spirit and innovation of jazz composition.
