Kasan Belgrave is the son of trumpeter Marcus Belgrave and came up in Detroit's jazz mentorship circle. He studied at the University of Michigan, held an assistantship at Michigan State, and toured with Jazz at Lincoln Center with Wynton Marsalis. He has also played all over the Detroit scene, from Latin and R&B to techno.

The lineup behind his record Dual Citizen comes from that same circle: bassist Jonathan Muir-Cotton, drummer Louis Jones, pianist Brendon Davis, trumpeter Allen Dennard and Michael Abbo on trombone and bass.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for dinner. Seating for the first show begins at 6 p.m. and for the second at 9 p.m. You can make a reservation.
