Kasan Belgrave Residency and Session at Cliff Bell’s

Kasan Belgrave, son of trumpeter Marcus Belgrave and a well-known figure in Detroit’s music scene, performed two sets at Cliff Bell’s. Rooted in Black American music traditions, Kasan has worked with legends like Aretha Franklin and Wynton Marsalis. He also connects deeply to Detroit’s techno scene, collaborating with artists such as Carl Craig and Moodyman. Doors opened at 5 p.m. for dinner, and musicians with instruments got in free.
