New Year’s Eve with Smoke Jones at Cliff Bell’s
Smoke Jones, Detroit’s soulful jazz-blues guitarist and singer, played at Cliff Bell’s on Tuesday, December 31, at 7:30 p.m. He performed three sets, including a midnight countdown to ring in the New Year.
Detroit’s own Smoke Jones blends jazz, blues, and soul into a distinctive sound. He released his debut single "I’ll Be Good To You" in January 2024, co-written with Billy Davis. With multiple music awards and solid local acclaim, including winning WDIV’s “Vote 4 The Best” for Best Jazz/Blues Band, Smoke brings magnetic performances to the city. His New Year’s Eve show at Cliff Bell’s featured three sets, with the last beginning at midnight to celebrate the New Year countdown.
