Jordan Anderson Piano Trio
Jordan Anderson and his trio played a jazz concert on Thursday, June 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Detroit's Cliff Bell’s. Jordan impressed the audience with his dynamic presence and creative improvisation.
Born in Minneapolis, Jordan Anderson started piano lessons at seven and trained under prominent voices in Black American music, including Detroit's Solomon Parham. A University of Michigan and Michigan State alum, Jordan moved to Detroit where he spans styles from jazz to hip-hop. The 2023 Rubato International Piano Competition winner, he also taught jazz piano at Interlochen's summer camp for several years. At Cliff Bell’s, his trio delivered a genuine and innovative jazz sound that captivated the attentive crowd in an intimate setting.
