Hidden Nomination Ft. Kevin Jones
Hidden Nomination played at Detroit’s Cliff Bell’s on Saturday, August 30, at 7:30 p.m., sharing a stage with percussionist Kevin Jones for a genre-blending jazz and neo-soul set.
Hidden Nomination is a genre-defying band that grew out of the Blue Llama Jazz Club, quickly emerging as a key act in the Midwest music scene. The group features Houston Patton and Michael Pineda on saxophones, Andre Crawford on piano, Dylan Sherman on bass, and Brian Allen on drums. Their sound merges jazz, funk, R&B, gospel, and neo-soul with high-energy and melodic interplay.
This show included Kevin “Bujo” Jones on percussion, adding an extra groove to their performance. Hosted at Cliff Bell’s, a legendary Detroit jazz venue, the band has built a strong following and is preparing to record their debut album in 2025.
